Tourist Development Council Approves Event Grants Excluding Major Festivals

The council's motion, led by member Josh Conyers and seconded by Bob Luck, was amended to include funding for the Harvest Wine and Food Festival, which is organized by the Destin Charity Wine Auction. This amendment reflects the council's recognition of the festival's importance and its upcoming schedule, necessitating earlier promotional efforts.

The council unanimously approved the motion with a 6-0 vote, emphasizing the need for thorough vetting of the remaining applications.
