Georgetown Project Aims for One-Year Renovation Completion

Renovations for the Georgetown project are set to be completed within one year, according to officials at the recent Regular Board Meeting held on August 13, 2025. Board members emphasized their commitment to staying on schedule, despite potential delays from unforeseen circumstances.

Dr. Briggman requested to see the final plans for the site before any demolition begins, highlighting the importance of community engagement in the renovation process. He expressed a desire to review the plans at the upcoming Community Improvement Committee meeting next week to alleviate any concerns from residents.

Currently, there is one vacant architect position that has been difficult to fill, with salary concerns cited as a possible reason for the lack of applicants.
