VFW Post 10374 Proposes Veterans Day Event at Haslet City Park

The Parks and Recreation Board of Haslet, Texas, convened on August 13, 2025, to discuss plans for a Veterans Day event in collaboration with VFW Post 10374. In addition to the Veterans Day event, the board considered a partnership with the VFW for the upcoming Christmas in the Park event on December 6, 2025. The VFW expressed interest in collecting toys for the Toys for Tots program during this event. The board agreed to allow the VFW to operate a donation station within the city’s tent at the Christmas event, enhancing their visibility and community involvement.
