BSRB Website Receives Praise for User-Friendly Design from Psychology Boards Association

In a recent meeting held by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) on August 15, 2025, members gathered to discuss significant updates and improvements aimed at enhancing user experience for licensees in the Marriage and Family Therapy field. The atmosphere was one of optimism as the board celebrated positive feedback received for its newly launched website, which transitioned from a previous platform to a more user-friendly design hosted by Granicus.

The revamped website, praised by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards, was recognized for its cleaner layout and improved accessibility, particularly for mobile users. This acknowledgment reflects the board's commitment to adapting to the evolving needs of its audience, ensuring that vital information is readily available at users' fingertips.

Another key topic of discussion was the implementation of CE Broker, a service designed to streamline the process of submitting continuing education documentation for license renewal. Since its launch in January, approximately 1,757 individuals have opted to use CE Broker, representing an uptake of about 11%. The board noted that most users engage with the platform right before their renewal dates, indicating a growing reliance on this digital tool.

Feedback from licensees has been largely positive, with only 26 service tickets reported since the launch, suggesting a smooth user experience. To further enhance accessibility, the board has added links to CE Broker information on its website and plans to include details about the service in upcoming license expiration notifications.

Looking ahead, the BSRB is working towards integrating CE Broker with the state's new enterprise licensing system, Acela. This integration aims to create a seamless experience for licensees, allowing them to manage their continuing education requirements more efficiently during the renewal process.
