Marion County Board Approves Land Use Changes for Oak Run and Convenience Store

In a related discussion, the board also approved a change for a 3.85-acre parcel owned by Jennifer Ehlenberg, transitioning from high residential to medium residential. This adjustment allows for the construction of five single-family homes, aligning with local zoning codes and addressing the lack of available utilities in the area.

Commissioner McClain moved for the approval of these planning and zoning consent items, which was seconded by Commissioner Curry. The motion passed without opposition, highlighting the board's commitment to facilitating responsible development in Marion County.

The meeting also featured a proposal from Cadjaz LLC, seeking to rezone a 1.59-acre site from agricultural to commercial for a convenience store and gas station.
