Teton County Commissioners To Discuss Transportation Issues At Upcoming Meeting

Teton County officials are gearing up for a collaborative meeting with the Teton County Bridal Commission, aiming to address key transportation issues and foster better relationships. During a recent government meeting, Administrator Pond highlighted the importance of this gathering, noting that the commission has three new members eager to introduce themselves and discuss potential partnerships.

The proposed agenda includes discussions on challenges related to the Grama Targhee Resort and transportation concerns. Officials are considering scheduling the meeting during one of their regular sessions in September or possibly on a Monday morning following a voucher meeting. The board expressed enthusiasm for the visit, with one member stating, “I would be grateful to welcome the Teton County Bridal County Commissioners for a visit to discuss transportation concerns, Grama Targhee concerns, etc.”

In addition to the upcoming meeting, the board also touched on a response from John Edens regarding the proposed extension of the Westside Teton Pathways. Edens expressed his opposition to ending the pathway at the scale turnout, emphasizing the need for the area to remain accessible for large vehicles.
