Commissioners Approve $1.3M Unpaid Claims in Court Meeting

Rockwall County Commissioners Court has approved unpaid claims totaling $1,338,942.94 during a special meeting held on August 19, 2025. The approval, which passed unanimously, includes payments related to arbitrage fees and an additional check for Broadus and Associates to meet a payment deadline.

The meeting proceeded without any discussions in executive session, allowing for a swift transition to public reports. Commissioner Leckte highlighted an upcoming event hosted by the Rockwall County Historical Foundation, scheduled for August 21 at Rosini Vineyards. The event, titled "Pour Yourself Into History," aims to share future plans and initiatives with the community, and all are invited to attend starting at 5:30 PM.
