City staff member Mister Gress outlined three main concerns. The second area of focus is signage for local businesses. Gress noted that while businesses can currently obtain permits for temporary signage, there may be a need to review these regulations to allow for more visibility during the World Cup. Local establishments, such as bars and restaurants, may want to promote watch parties or special events, and the council is considering how to facilitate this without compromising existing codes.

Lastly, the council discussed the process for vendors wishing to set up pop-up tents selling merchandise during the tournament. While the city allows these activities, there are specific requirements that vendors must meet, including obtaining permits and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The council aims to improve communication about these processes to ensure vendors are prepared ahead of time.
