The meeting also recognized the achievements of local PTAs, with 16 out of 37 receiving the Golden Apple Award for having 100% faculty participation. Additionally, six campuses were acknowledged for achieving membership numbers equal to or greater than their enrollment.

Castleberry detailed various community engagement activities, including partnerships with local businesses that provided resources and support for students. The PTAs hosted advocacy events to promote involvement in legislative matters affecting education, including a legislative forum and a trustee candidate event.

The meeting concluded with a president's update, where the board recognized the efforts of the Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) for their compliance with legislative requirements and their annual report submission. The Greater Keller Women's Club was also acknowledged for contributing over $135,000 in scholarships to students across the district.
