School Board Approves Budget Amendments Amid Capital Project Delays

Cumberland County Schools are set to implement stricter policies regarding cell phone usage in classrooms, following a discussion at the Board of Education meeting on August 21. The proposed policy mandates that cell phones must be turned off and stored during instructional time, a step beyond the state law which only requires them to be off during lessons.
