School District Initiates Online Payment System and New Chromebook Distribution

Vernon Township School District is making significant strides in enhancing its payment systems and technology resources for students and parents. During the recent Board of Education meeting, officials announced the transition to a new online payment platform, allowing parents to make digital payments not only for school meals but also for field trips and other activities. This system is designed to streamline transactions and reduce the need for paper notifications, with parents given a month to create new accounts.

In addition to the payment updates, the district revealed that all sixth and ninth graders will receive new Chromebooks from Asus, which are expected to be more durable than previous models.
