Residents Urge Benbrook Council to Reject Contractor Linked to Legal Issues

During the recent Benbrook City Council meeting, residents voiced strong concerns regarding a proposed project linked to a local contractor, Mr. Waldrop, who has faced significant legal challenges and financial issues.

Carrie Key, a long-time resident of Mary’s Creek Drive, urged the council to vote against the project, citing her experiences with flooding in the area. He pointed out that Waldrop was arrested earlier this year on felony charges related to unpaid contractor fees and has been forced into bankruptcy due to claims from homeowners and suppliers.
