Hunter Berg highlights Williston State College's foundation role in economic growth

The Higher Education Institutions Committee of the North Dakota Legislature convened on August 22, 2025, to discuss various topics related to the state's educational landscape. The meeting highlighted the pressing training needs in Watford City and the collaborative efforts of local institutions to address these demands.

The session began with remarks from committee members, emphasizing the significant training requirements in Watford City, which currently has only 13 offerings to meet a growing list of demands. President Langang and Vice President Collins from Bismarck State College (BSC) were acknowledged for their contributions to addressing these needs, particularly in McKenzie County.
