School Board Allocates $1.7M for Charter Tuition and $500K for Literacy Campaign

Syracuse City’s Education & Human Development Committee has outlined significant budget adjustments aimed at enhancing educational resources and addressing rising healthcare costs during their meeting on August 25, 2025.

The committee revealed plans to allocate an additional $1 million to healthcare expenditures, bringing the total to approximately $4.5 million compared to the previous year.
