Carroll County Growth Partnership Awards $40K in Micro Grants to Boost Local Businesses

The Carroll County Growth Partnership is making waves with its successful grant program, which has awarded 35 micro grants totaling $40,000 since its inception in 2030. During a recent meeting, Kimberly highlighted the importance of these grants in supporting local businesses with essential projects, such as facade improvements and signage. These micro grants serve as crucial funding that can help business owners take the final steps needed to move forward with their initiatives.

In a notable success story, Glidden's Brooke Peterson launched her own grant program inspired by the Carroll County initiative, showcasing the positive ripple effect of community support. Currently, ten buildings in Carroll's downtown are undergoing renovations, significantly enhancing the local vibe and attracting more visitors.
