Local Police Department Announces Community Outreach Events in September

Idaho Falls City Council is set to enhance community engagement through two upcoming outreach programs with the police department. Residents are invited to join officers for "Pizza with Police" at Lucy's on Wednesday, September 3, at 5 PM, and "Bagels with the Blue" at Teton Bagels on Saturday, September 6, at 4 PM. These events aim to foster dialogue between the community and law enforcement, encouraging residents to connect with officers in a relaxed setting.

In addition to community outreach, the council discussed the ongoing open enrollment period for city employees, which runs from August 11 to September 12. City staff member Heather has been instrumental in communicating the details of the coverage options available, ensuring that employees are well-informed about their choices.
