Cindy Virgold advocates for air conditioning and crossing guard increases in school district

Virgold also raised alarms about safety at the intersection of Old Lancaster and Howville, where only one veteran crossing guard is currently managing traffic. "You need more crossing guards," she insisted, suggesting that the district should advertise for additional help or even offer bonuses to attract more personnel. Her comments underscored the challenges faced during peak school hours, which she described as a "disaster."
