Commission Approves Management Contract with Kitchell for Juvenile Facility Project

Kaufman County officials have taken significant steps to enhance local infrastructure and financial management during their recent Commissioners Court meeting on August 26, 2025. The court approved a crucial contract with Kitchell CEM for the management of a new juvenile probation facility, allocating $1,270,730 for the project. This contract will enable Kitchell to act as the county's owner representative, overseeing all phases of construction and ensuring the facility is built to specifications.

Cameron Glass from Kitchell emphasized the company's extensive experience, having managed numerous juvenile facilities across the United States.
