Newton Council Approves Special Assessments for Infrastructure Projects

Derby City Council has made significant strides in its budgeting process, as highlighted in the recent meeting held on August 26, 2025. A discrepancy in assessment notices for certain properties was addressed during the hearing. An attorney representing TWB Investments raised concerns about incorrect amounts listed in the notices. City staff confirmed that the issue had been resolved and that corrected notices would be sent to the affected property owners.
