West Basement Project Moves Forward With Change Order Approval

The Warren County School Board meeting on August 26, 2025, highlighted several key developments that promise to enhance the educational environment for local students. Among the most significant updates was the progress on the West Basement project, which has finally moved forward after negotiations regarding fire marshal code compliance. The board approved a change order, allowing work to commence immediately, marking a long-awaited step in the project.

In addition to the basement project, the new restroom facilities at Nunley Stadium are now operational, receiving positive feedback from community members who attended recent events. The construction of a Playground Pavilion at West School is also underway, although delays were encountered due to a miscalculation in roofing materials.
