Marion County Health Department Validates Metrum IC Instrument for Water Analysis

The Marion County Public Health Department is making strides in water safety and public health initiatives, as highlighted in the recent City Council meeting. A new instrument, the Metrum IC, has been validated for analyzing harmful substances in local water sources, marking a significant advancement in environmental health efforts. This comes as the department continues to monitor water quality in streams, ensuring community safety from chemical contamination.

Lastly, the Marion County Senior Summit brought together service providers to discuss elder care, revealing a need for a centralized database of available services. This initiative aims to improve access to essential resources for older adults, emphasizing the importance of community collaboration in health care.
