Council Members Debate Funding Approaches for Beach and Infrastructure Projects

Galveston City Council members engaged in a heated discussion during their recent meeting regarding funding for a critical infrastructure project. The council is grappling with how to allocate limited financial resources, particularly concerning the beach silo fund, which is intended for beach-related projects.

The primary concern raised was the potential diversion of funds from the beach silo to support an infrastructure project.
