The Cerritos City Council highlighted Trader Joe's during their recent meeting, celebrating the grocery store's 25 years of service in the community. Trader Joe's, which opened its Cerritos location in 2000, is part of a national chain known for its commitment to high-quality products and competitive pricing.
Founded in 1967, Trader Joe's has grown to over 580 stores across the United States. The Cerritos store, located in the Cerritos Town Center, offers a diverse selection of both domestic and imported goods, all approved by the company's tasting panel. Notably, the store donates 100% of its unsold products to local food banks and recovery agencies, reinforcing its commitment to community support.
During the meeting, representatives Esteban and Daniel expressed pride in being part of the Cerritos community and emphasized the store's dedication to providing a unique shopping experience. Trader Joe's operates daily from 8 AM to 9 PM, continuing to serve as a valued neighborhood grocery option for residents.
The City Council's recognition of Trader Joe's underscores the importance of local businesses in fostering community ties and supporting charitable efforts. As the store celebrates its milestone, it remains focused on enhancing the shopping experience for Cerritos residents.
