Northview Dominates Speedway Spark Plugs with 35 to 0 Halftime Score

The Speedway Sparkplug Football team faced a challenging first home game of the season against the Northview Knights on August 30, 2025. As the first half concluded, Northview held a commanding lead of 35 to 0.

The game featured a series of plays where Speedway struggled to gain momentum. Notably, a kickoff return by Shola resulted in a fumble at the 20-yard line, although he managed to recover and advance the ball. Despite efforts to establish an offensive rhythm, Speedway's attempts to run the ball were met with strong defensive plays from Northview, resulting in minimal gains.
