Commission Approves 28 Lot Development on Sam Donald Road

In a recent meeting of the Brentwood Planning Commission, significant discussions centered around a proposed residential development and a minor site plan alteration for a local shopping center. During the discussion, concerns were raised regarding the placement of mailboxes on Sam Donald Road, particularly in relation to traffic safety. The developer, represented by Nikki Wells of Turnberry Homes, clarified that the U.S. Postal Service had designated the mailbox arrangements for efficiency, despite some apprehension from commissioners about potential hazards.

In addition to the residential development, the commission also reviewed a minor site plan alteration for the Peachtree Village Shopping Center located at 210 Franklin Road. The request from Regency Centers Corporation aims to repaint the shopping center, which currently features lighter colors and tan brick.
