Levi's Kitchen and Yakin Koo Indie Approved for Alcohol Licenses in Indiana

The City Council of Indianapolis convened on September 2, 2025, to discuss several applications for alcoholic beverage licenses, reflecting the ongoing growth and diversification of the local dining scene. Among the notable discussions was the approval of Levi's Kitchen LLC, which is set to open at 71718 Southeast Street, pending a final inspection. Another significant application came from Kinku Indie LLC, which is launching Yakin Koo Indie at 6001 East 80 Sixth Street. The Columbia Club, a long-standing establishment on the circle, sought to transition to a hotel permit to enhance its operational flexibility without altering its existing policies or practices. The club's representatives noted its excellent compliance record with no alcohol violations, which contributed to the board's swift approval of the permit change.

Other applications included those from Westport Broad Ripple LLC and SBP Properties LLC, which faced delays due to missing documentation and signage issues. The council decided to continue these applications for further review in the coming month.
