New Hampshire School District Addresses Enrollment Confusion and Math Program Changes

Attendance confusion was a hot topic at the Henniker School District's recent school board meeting, as officials clarified enrollment numbers for the start of the school year. Contrary to earlier reports suggesting a drop of 51 students, the district confirmed that many of these students are in transition to other schools and have not yet completed their enrollment paperwork. Currently, there are no plans to fill this position, which raised questions about the availability of algebra classes for eighth graders. The district is exploring alternative options, including online courses through the Virtual Learning Academy Charter School (VLACC), which offers free access to New Hampshire students.
