The City of Wildwood held its Celebration Commission meeting on September 3, 2025, to discuss preparations for the upcoming community celebration. The meeting focused on the layout and logistics of the event, which is expected to mirror last year's setup with only minor adjustments.
The commission reviewed the basic layout of the event, noting that it would remain largely unchanged. Key features include the placement of sponsor booths, which will be prominently displayed on the event map. The top section will highlight premier sponsors alongside their respective areas, such as the dining tent and event grounds. Additionally, community sponsors will also be featured on the map.
The commission's designer, Stacy Minkle, is currently finalizing the layout, which will include a QR code on the back of the map. This decision follows positive feedback from last year, where attendees found the QR code useful for accessing information about food offerings and vendor details directly on their phones. The printed maps will still be available, but the QR code is expected to enhance the experience for attendees.
Director Bunish announced that the mosque lot would again be utilized for overflow parking, a decision welcomed by the commission. The number of vendor booths is set at 92, which is consistent with the previous year’s total of 90. The commission expressed satisfaction with the participation of local artists, which contributed to a successful vendor lineup.
Overall, the meeting concluded with a sense of readiness for the upcoming celebration, with no significant changes anticipated from last year’s event. The commission will continue to finalize details as the event date approaches.
