The Kings Mountain High School volleyball team was celebrated at the Cleveland County Commissioner’s meeting on January 16, 2024, following their remarkable achievement of winning the NCHSAA 3A state championship. Commissioner Hutchins proudly recognized the team, highlighting their impressive season record of 34 wins and just one loss, marking the first state championship victory in 20 years for the Lady Mountaineers.
