In a vibrant start to the school year, Principal Miss Flar emphasized the importance of kindness and respect during the KCMS broadcast on September 8, 2025. With a nod to the beautiful San Diego weather, she encouraged students to enjoy the beach while reminding them of upcoming events, including Club Day on Thursday.
Students are urged to submit club applications by today or tomorrow, with tables set up in the quad for students to explore various clubs during lunch. Flar highlighted the significance of getting involved and finding a community on campus.
In her address, she also reinforced school rules, particularly regarding phone usage in the library and respectful behavior in hallways. Flar noted the need for students to keep their hands to themselves and walk on the correct side of the hallways to ensure a safe environment for all.
Flar's message centered on kindness, urging students to be considerate of one another and to remember that everyone has their own story. "In a world where you can be anything, be kind," she stated, reiterating her long-standing theme for the school community.
As the week unfolds, students are encouraged to stay hydrated and participate actively in school activities, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere at Coronado Unified.
