Avery Berry discussed the Project Lead The Way STEM courses, which have expanded significantly over the past two years. Students have had the opportunity to engage with professionals from GE Aerospace and participate in hands-on experiences, such as visiting the GVSU Medical Simulation Center. Seventh grader Nora Grover shared her enthusiasm for the Medical Detectives class, highlighting the engaging curriculum and the valuable field trip that deepened her understanding of the medical field.

David Albert, the industrial arts teacher, emphasized the dual focus of his woodworking classes on craftsmanship and employability skills. Eighth grader Acadia Vogel spoke about her transformative experience in woodworking, noting how the class has built her confidence and opened her eyes to future opportunities.
