Cooper City has officially declared September 15 to 21 as National Diaper Need Awareness Week, a move aimed at highlighting the struggles faced by families unable to afford sufficient diapers for their children. Dwayne Wolf, a local advocate and co-founder of a diaper bank, accepted the proclamation, sharing his personal commitment to addressing diaper needs in the community. Wolf noted that nearly half of families in the U.S. struggle with diaper supply, often leading to health risks for children and economic challenges for parents. He highlighted that many parents miss work due to insufficient diaper supplies, which can hinder their ability to provide for their families.
