Upcoming public safety discussions are set to take place in Anchorage, as the Municipality gears up for a series of meetings aimed at reimagining the Public Safety Advisory Commission. During the recent Rules Committee meeting on September 12, 2025, officials announced two online panel discussions scheduled for September 25 and October 23, both from 10:30 AM to noon. These sessions will focus on existing public safety agencies and explore alternative models from Anchorage and beyond.
In addition to the online discussions, the public is invited to attend two in-person deliberations on November 13 and November 20, also at 10:30 AM, held at the Anchorage Public Library in Midtown. These meetings aim to foster community engagement and gather input on public safety strategies.
