Lake Forest residents can now enjoy a more user-friendly experience with the launch of the city’s redesigned website, announced by Mayor Scott Voigt in this week’s Mayor’s Minute. The new site features a modern design aimed at enhancing community engagement, making it easier for residents to apply for permits, submit service requests, and access vital information.
The website, built with resident feedback, emphasizes transparency and accessibility. Key improvements include tailored search results, quick links for easy navigation, and a centralized hub for news and events. Additionally, the new city logo, prominently featuring the outline of Saddleback Peak, is integrated throughout the site, reinforcing the city’s identity.
Looking ahead, the city plans to introduce a digital app that will provide residents with essential tools and updates at their fingertips. Residents are encouraged to explore the new website at lakeforestca.gov to discover its features.
In addition to the website launch, the city is seeking community input on the future of Cavanaugh Park. Plans for renovation are underway, and two outreach meetings are scheduled for Saturday, September 6, and Wednesday, October 29. Residents can participate in shaping the park's design by visiting the website to learn more and complete an online survey.
These initiatives reflect Lake Forest's commitment to improving community services and fostering resident involvement.
