During the recent Bentonville School District Board meeting held on September 16, 2025, a significant personnel request was presented to enhance school security. The district is seeking to add 14 Commission School Security Officers (CSSOs) to its existing security team, which currently comprises five CSSOs and several School Resource Officers (SROs) across various campuses.
