The City of Janesville's GM/JATCO Redevelopment Advisory Board has officially appointed its leadership, with Mick Gilbertson taking the helm as chair and Lindsey Bittorf stepping in as vice chair. The nominations were made during a recent meeting, where board members expressed their confidence in Gilbertson's ability to lead the group forward.

Gilbertson was nominated by Craig Agarmo, and the motion received unanimous support from the board members present. "I’m willing to serve as chair," Gilbertson stated, solidifying his commitment to the role. Following this, Bittorf was nominated for vice chair, also receiving unanimous approval.

The meeting also included plans for a site tour of the redevelopment area, with members encouraged to use their own vehicles for convenience. The site, previously occupied by the former company, is currently undergoing renovations, including the replacement of manhole covers that were removed. Board members were advised to be cautious of potholes as they navigate the area.
