Another significant proposal involves the addition of buffered bike lanes along Bingham Junction Boulevard, along with pedestrian improvements near Topgolf. This project aims to facilitate safer travel for cyclists and pedestrians, particularly given the high foot traffic between Topgolf and nearby restaurants. Although the project was previously submitted to the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) without funding, city officials are optimistic about resubmitting their request.

Lastly, the commission discussed the need to update the land use plan, which has not been revised since February 2016. The updated plan aims to integrate various elements of the general plan, including the newly developed transportation master plan, to create actionable policies that guide future development in Midvale.
