This environment will facilitate the secure handling of personally identifiable information (PII) and streamline data requests. The project is currently in the development and testing phases, with an agile approach allowing for continuous feedback and adjustments based on agency needs.

Katie Breslin, the data governance coordinator, discussed the importance of updating legal agreements to support the new data sharing framework. This includes the introduction of a data use license to clarify roles and responsibilities among participating agencies. The existing enterprise memorandum of understanding (MOU) and data sharing agreements are being revised to reflect the new operational environment, ensuring transparency and flexibility in data sharing processes.

The board acknowledged the complexity of these topics and the need for further discussion in future meetings. The ongoing efforts to enhance data sharing capabilities are seen as crucial for improving inter-agency collaboration and ensuring the responsible use of data in Connecticut.
