Four members of the Lebanon Board of Parks were present at the recent meeting, with one member absent. The meeting began with the approval of the minutes from the September gathering, which passed without any objections.
In a brief update, the director's report highlighted significant progress on local projects. Notably, the demolition of Thompson Street at Abner Longway has been completed, and Triangle Asphalt has laid down a new asphalt surface, enhancing the area’s appearance. Future plans include securing funding for a roof and exterior improvements, contingent on reimbursements from the Grant Street project, with work expected to commence in the spring.
Additionally, the perimeter path around Abner Longway is currently out for bids, which will include both the path and lighting enhancements. The meeting concluded with no old or new business to discuss, leaving the board focused on ongoing projects and improvements for the community.
