Commission approves membership change and pays Moosewood Ecological invoice

The Hooksett Conservation Commission approved two routine administrative items during its meeting: a motion to authorize payment to Moosewood Ecological for work performed to date at Quimby Mountain (invoice amount $6,270) and a vote to change membership status so that John Peroni becomes a full member while John Pannell becomes an alternate.

Members confirmed Moosewood Ecological is progressing on the Quimby Mountain stewardship work and that the commission’s agreement allows progress payments. The invoice approved covers work done primarily in June through August; the commission noted additional invoices are expected.

On membership, the commission acknowledged a prior town-council approval and voted to formalize John Peroni as a full member; commissioners congratulated him and welcomed John Pannell as an alternate.

Both actions were approved by voice vote.
