Committee members asked whether the timber included trees at risk of falling; staff said they had not personally inspected every tree but added the consultant’s inventory informs harvesting decisions. An emergency clause was included so work could occur before leaf collection, staff said.
Motion by Klaus (second recorded) moved the resolution forward; the committee approved the resolution by voice vote, 5-0. Staff indicated the city received three bids on the work. No opponents or amendments were recorded during committee discussion.
