The City of McKinney City Council on Monday nominated and approved Steve Wilson to serve as the city’s representative on the Collin Central Appraisal District Board of Directors.
Councilmember Beller moved the nomination and Councilmember Cloutier seconded. Councilmembers thanked outgoing representative Brian Manzan for his service. The motion carried by a 7-0 vote.
Councilmembers noted the role requires knowledge of board management and time commitment; the council said Steve Wilson’s experience with public boards made him a suitable candidate. No compensation or term details were discussed at the meeting; the nomination will be forwarded to the appraisal district as the city’s formal recommendation.
