The Planning & Zoning Commission on Oct. 6 approved two administrative replats for Mustang Square residential blocks and accepted an applicant's request to withdraw a remanded rezoning application.
Destiny Woods, planner with the planning department, explained the Mustang Square replat requests were administrative: the proposals adjust lot boundaries and dedicate needed easements to create single-family detached lots. "The purpose of this replat is to adjust the lot boundaries and dedicate easements necessary for the single family detached lots. And this item is recommended for approval, as submitted," Woods said. Commissioners moved and seconded the approvals for both replat items; the meeting record shows motions passed 7-0 for both Mustang Square Block G (lots 1'14 and common area) and Mustang Square Block A (13 single-family detached lots and four common-area lots).
Separately, the commission accepted the applicant's request to withdraw Zoning Case 20-24-023 (a rezoning remanded by City Council). John Kim, senior planner, presented the request; Commissioner Brunoff moved to accept the withdrawal and Commissioner Lingenfelter seconded. The motion passed 7-0.
All three administrative actions had no registered public speakers, and staff indicated readiness to answer technical questions during the meeting.
