County Clerk Lisa Schmidt reported the voucher total and highlighted several large items, including a $986,031.58 payment to JADO, $550,946.82 listed as CAPER contributions, $368,384.05 for health insurance, an allocation of $260,936 to social agencies and a $164,654.29 payment to Meridian Roofing for work at the courthouse. After the clerk reviewed the report, commissioners moved and voted to approve the vouchers.
The voucher approval was recorded as passing by voice vote. The county did not take additional public comment on the voucher report during the meeting.
The payments will be processed from the county’s current funds as listed in the voucher packet presented to the commission.
