The Janesville Plan Commission on Oct. 6 set two conditional use permit applications for public hearing on Oct. 20, 2025.

The first application is for a Sauk Valley Bank branch with a drive-through at 1135 Black Bridal Road. The second application seeks approval to establish a dog daycare facility with an outdoor dog run at 2315 West Court Street. Planning staff placed both items on the plan commission agenda for a public hearing and formal conditional-use review on Oct. 20, 2025.

No substantive discussion of the merits occurred at the Oct. 6 meeting; the items were scheduled for the public hearing so the planning commission could receive public comment and review technical materials before deliberation and any decision.
