Students in Strong Start High School’s summer theater program told a student broadcast their cabaret‑style show Dare to Dream is scheduled for July 31 and that tickets will be sold at 11 a.m. before the performance.
Why it matters: local school theatrical productions are community events that offer student performing experience and draw families and neighbors to school facilities.
In a brief interview, Alex Shiloh introduced themself and Kira Madruga described the show: “The name of the play is Dare to Dream, and it is a little play about just a few of the Disney songs, like, kinda put together in a little cabaret almost.” The students said the program handles quick set changes: “We just kinda move the stairs and the setting, so we're just changing the sets as they change the songs,” and identified their rehearsal schedule: “We have about, like, 3 more left, including the day of the show.”
Kira Madruga gave the date and ticketing details: “It is July 31. It is next Thursday.” She said tickets “'ll be available at 11AM before the show, and they're $10 for students and seniors and $15 for adults.”
The broadcast did not specify performance time, seating capacity, or whether tickets could be purchased in advance. Strong Start High School staff and the theater program director were not quoted in the segment.
For parents: the students reported three remaining rehearsals and that the production is student‑run in staging and set movement. The program presented the information on-air; the school’s official schedule or box office should be consulted for confirmation of performance time and ticket availability.
