The Dothan City Commission on Oct. 7 approved multiple service and software contracts encompassing landfill compliance monitoring, equipment rental, airport hangar lease and several technology agreements for city departments.
Key actions included a one-year TTL Inc. contract for compliance monitoring and reporting at the City of Dothan landfill for $84,300 (Resolution 2025-266); approval of a rental agreement for a bucket truck to support a transmission line switch replacement project (Resolution 2025-265); and a one-year lease with the Dothan Houston County Airport Authority for Hangar No. 4 at $48,000 (Resolution 2025-267).
The commission also approved multi-year technology and services agreements: Invoice Cloud Inc. for customer payment processing (three-year initial term, Resolution 2025-268), PowerDMS by NEOGOV subscriptions for policy and training for the Police Department ($11,991.06 annually, Resolution 2025-269) and Fire Department ($9,779.66 annually, Resolution 2025-270), and NEOGOV onboarding/insight products for HR functions (Resolutions 2025-271 and 2025-272).
Each contract was presented as part of routine procurement. Commissioners asked few questions and the measures passed on motions and seconds by voice vote. Staff noted the landfill compliance contract covers monitoring and reporting obligations; the payment-processing and policy/training subscriptions support departmental operations and training compliance.
The actions authorize staff to execute the contracts and proceed with implementation; specific performance schedules and reporting requirements will be administered by the relevant departments.
