A seasonal family flu walk-in clinic is set to take place on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 3 PM to 7 PM at Braintree Town Hall, as announced by Councilor Bridal during the recent Braintree Town Council meeting. The clinic will provide free flu shots to adults aged 18 and older, as well as students in grades 5 through 12, on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees are reminded to bring their insurance cards, and those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

In a more somber note, Councilor Ringus shared the news of the passing of Dr. Maureen Murray Adamson, the former superintendent of schools, who died unexpectedly on September 20. Ringus praised Dr. Murray for her dedication to education and the community, highlighting her 40-year career and significant contributions to Braintree's schools.
