The Public Projects Committee on Sept. 23 approved a $5,500 professional services contract with Grow Marketing to build a new website for human‑resources recruitment.
City staff said the site will offer similar information and application access as the main city website but will be more interactive and easier for prospective applicants to navigate. Staff noted some departments, such as the police recruitment unit and arts and entertainment, maintain separate websites when their needs do not fit the city’s standard website template. The Grow Marketing contract was described as a local hire.
The committee approved the contract by voice vote.
