The agreements cover two railroad overpasses on the project corridor — the main line, where the railroad owns the property in fee, and a spur line, where the city owns the fee and must grant the railroad an easement. “These are the overarching agreements to say, OK — you’ve got these plans, we approve these plans, and here are the agreements that let construction proceed,” a staff member said during the meeting.
